Please join the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Georgia Global Health Alliance for a Fireside Chat with Dr. Paul Farmer and Dr. Bill Foege. Dr. Farmer is the, Kolokotrones University Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine and co-founder of the international humanitarian organization, Partners in Health. Dr. Bill Foege, a former CDC Director, is credited with developing the global strategy that resulted in smallpox eradication–the only human disease that has ever been eradicated.
The event will take place on February 7th, 2019, from 10 AM-11:30AM, at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Tom Harkin Communcations Center in the Alexander Langmuir Auditorium.
This event is free to attend but space is limited & ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE. Register below. Additionally, parking is not available so ride sharing is advised.
